The Return

In the outskirts of the town where I currently live, I’ve found this old abandoned rustic house surrounded by fields. It’s quiet here; a small timid river flows right by. As I was walking along the opposite side of the river, I noticed something out of the corner of my eye. Looking more closely, I see those strange colors and patterns on the wall inside the second-floor window, and suddenly a pigeon flies quickly through the corridor. It took only a fraction of a second, but I immediately previsualized this picture. I pulled my camera out of its bag, framed the composition and began to wait.
